Anna Pilkington
Respiratory Physiotherapist

QUALIFICATIONS: MSc MCSP, MACPRC

Anna is a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist with over five years experience of working with patients presenting with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions. She began her career at Frimley Park Hospital before moving to the world renowned Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, working as a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist across Intensive Care, High Dependency Units, Respiratory Wards and in Respiratory Outpatients. Anna has a wealth of experience caring for patients with conditions such as Bronchiectasis, COPD, IPF and breathing pattern disorders and held a senior position on the Intensive Care Unit during the COVID pandemic at Guy’s Hospital. She has also been involved in service development for the management of Bronchiectasis in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity, with a focus on airway clearance techniques and exercise prescription.

Anna has also worked at the Centre of Excellence, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, where she managed patients with acute exacerbations of chronic respiratory conditions and was involved in implementation of long term management plans.
