QUALIFICATIONS: BSc MCSP, MACPRC

Charlotte has over 10 years of NHS clinical experience, working specifically in respiratory for 8 years. She completed Specialist Respiratory Rotations at King’s College Hospital before working at Royal Papworth Hospital for 3 years. Charlotte currently works within Barts Health NHS Trust as a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist.

Charlotte was an individual finalist for the Barts Health Hero awards in 2022 recognising the exceptional collaborative work she completed during COVID-19 and supporting patients with home oxygen.

Charlotte has extensive experience managing and treating patients with long term respiratory conditions, including COPD, bronchiectasis, ILD, IPF, CF and post COVID. She is able to support those who have just received a respiratory diagnosis formulating self-management plans and reviewing patients after surgery or hospital admissions.  Charlotte always puts the patient at the forefront of her clinical work working collaboratively towards desired goals.

Throughout her career Charlotte’s approach has always been evidenced based keeping up to date with relevant research and evidence and has presented at national and international conferences. Charlotte has chosen to work at NHS Trusts who are at the forefront of medical care and research. She is due to start further post-graduate training in 2023 with the aim of working towards independent prescribing and becoming an advanced clinical practitioner.

Charlotte has worked within a community setting since 2019 and joins the Air Physiotherapy team offering home visits in and around London and Surrey.
