If you follow me on social media you’ll have seen me mention Pactster before.

But what exactly is it?!
Quite simply Pactster is an interactive online gym! It’s a social fitness platform that offers channels of fitness videos for health specific needs, as well as motivational and community features to help people use exercise for both preventative and restorative health.
The platform provides the perfect solution to taking on physical activity that has been specifically designed with CF mind – and without the risk of cross infection. But you don’t have to have CF to use Pactster! It’s a brilliant resource for absolutely anyone who is looking to get a bit more active, especially if you have a lung condition.
There really is something for everyone on the website: from yoga and pilates workouts to higher intensity HIIT or cardio sessions. You can select your workout video on demand to cater for your exact need, so for example, if you’re looking for workouts that work on airway clearance or improving lung function, you can choose filter down the full range to those that specifically work on that area. And if you’ve found that the style of one particular instructor really works for you, you can also select routines created by them. There’s even the opportunity to join in group workouts – just scroll down to the group workout section on the website and see what’s coming up. Then join in to whichever session takes your fancy!
An exciting and expanding feature of the website is the communities section where you can tap into what’s going on in your local community. It’s your opportunity to virtually “meet” people with similar interests, health conditions or goals so that you can get the support you need for your condition.
Pactster is very much a joint venture, relying on the input of the community and feedback form members to constantly develop and improve the platform.
